Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy uses high-energy sound waves delivered through a special handheld device to target injured tissues and accelerate healing.

How Shockwave Therapy Works
By improving circulation and activating the body’s natural healing processes, shockwave therapy can:

  • Speed up recovery from chronic or acute injuries

  • Encourage the formation of healthy new tissue

  • Reduce pain by limiting the production of pain-causing chemicals

Treatment is typically delivered in a series of 4 - 6 sessions, and some patients notice improvements after just one session.

Shockwave therapy is an evidence-based approach to improving pain for a number of conditions, such as:

From the intial appointment Conor was able to identify the problem, come up with a plan of action and after 3 visit i have seen dramatic improvement to the siatica which is caused by a herniated disc.
Connor is very professional, knowledgeable. I would thoroughly recommend Atlas to anyone.
